We have designed a waste laser toner cartridge recycling solution based on non-explosive technology
Used printing toner components from printers, fax machines and similar devices contain environmentally harmful substances. Therefore, it is very important that the toner cartridges are not discarded in municipal waste, but separated from other waste and treated by an authorised recycling company..
The main feature of the machine, which treats up to 600kg/h of waste laser cartridges of maximal dimensions 400 x 100 x 100mm, not heavier than 0,9kg and containing up to 10% of residual powder, is that the toner powder mixed with inert powder as a non-explosive output fraction is separated from all other materials such as steel, aluminium and plastics, all of which can also be separately recoverd and sold into their respective scrap markets.
The inert powder can be used in production of bitumen (asphalt binder) or consigned to an inert waste landfill.
